What Sets the Kroma 217 Apart

A refined, familiar mod

The Kroma 217 takes a conventional approach: a metal-framed single-battery mod with a clear screen and a sensible menu. Reviewers have praised it for improving on proven ideas rather than reinventing them, which makes it a safe recommendation for experienced vapers.

The Z Force tank

The included Z Force tank uses DuoPrime ZF coils, which have a dual-wall mesh separated by cotton for improved flavour. Reviewers highlight that coils can be swapped with a full tank, which is a practical touch for everyday use.

Flexible battery choice

Because the mod accepts 18650 and 21700 cells, customers can use what they already own. A 21700 cell is needed to reach the full 100W.

Why Choose the Innokin Kroma 217?

Established brand – Innokin is well known and respected in UK vaping.
Repeat coil sales – ZF coils create ongoing demand after the kit sale.
Five finishes – including wood and fibre styles for your display.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Innokin Kroma 217 Z Force Vape Kit?

The Innokin Kroma 217 Z Force is a single-battery box mod and sub-ohm tank kit for direct-to-lung vaping, with output of up to 100W on a 21700 battery (80W on an 18650). It comes with the Z Force tank and DuoPrime ZF coils, charges over USB-C and holds 2ml in its UK version. Batteries are not included.

Are batteries included with the Kroma 217?

No. The Kroma 217 takes a single 18650 or 21700 battery, sold separately. Customers should buy a high-drain cell from a reputable supplier, check it for damage and charge it only with a suitable charger. A 21700 cell is needed to reach the full 100W, while an 18650 is limited to 80W.

Which coils fit the Kroma 217?

The Kroma 217's Z Force tank uses Innokin's DuoPrime ZF coils, with a 0.2Ω coil supplied installed. The coils are plug-and-play, pushing into the base of the tank. Check the wattage range printed on each coil, and set the device to match before vaping.

Is the Kroma 217 good for beginners?

The Kroma 217 is better suited to experienced vapers than to complete beginners. It uses a removable battery, sub-ohm coils and a wide wattage range, all of which need some knowledge to use safely. New vapers are usually better served by a simple pod kit, with a mod like this as a later step.

What e-liquid should I use in the Kroma 217?

The Kroma 217 is designed for freebase e-liquids with a higher VG content, typically at low nicotine strengths such as 3mg or 6mg, including shortfills. These suit its sub-ohm ZF coils and high wattage. High-strength nic salts are not recommended at this power level, as the vapour would feel harsh.

Is the Innokin Kroma 217 legal in the UK?

Yes. The Innokin Kroma 217 is legal to sell and buy in the UK for adults aged 18 and over. The UK version uses a 2ml tank, within the limit set by TPD regulations for nicotine-containing products. Retailers must carry out age verification on every sale of vaping devices and e-liquids.

How often should I change the coil?

Change the ZF coil when the flavour starts to fade or the vapour tastes burnt, which for many users is roughly every one to two weeks. Coil life depends on wattage, how much you vape and the e-liquid used. At higher power, a 2ml tank empties quickly, so keep it topped up.

How do I dispose of the device and battery?

Used batteries and the mod must not go in your household bin. Take them to an electrical or battery recycling point, such as those at many supermarkets and council sites. Empty any remaining e-liquid from used coils and tanks first, then dispose of them in line with your local council's guidance.
